    Access not consistent

In one database I created it works fine. In another database I did the same thing it create errors where the output doesn’t look right. And I can never figure it out. Anyone ever experience it where they did something to a access database and then did then same thing in another database by copied over but with some changes but one seems to be working and the other didn’t and know why ?

I think it has to do with database and database recordset. I think it needs to be clear and reset, how can I clear and reset database and record sets ?

Sure, but it's usually pilot error. What exactly did you do, and how does it differ?

I think it has to do with database and database recordset. I think I need to clear and reset them. Everything was working fine until the import feature. First database it was fine, second database I need to import close the database and reopen for it to be fine. Probably close and then open the database clear and resent the database and it’s records. Third database was a total mess after the import feature. Not sure why first database everything was fine without close and reopen database.

I zero in on the culprit and noticed that if I manually removed a table and do an import of excel file it works fine but if I programmatically do it is not. But the query seems to be work both ways.

    Please advise ?

Oddly the first database doesn’t have this problem. That is why Access I think is inconsistent.
