    restricting combo box entry

    Hi all

i have a combo box which staff use to select their name from the list. How to i stop people from typing their own values in the box. I only want them to be able to enter a value from the list provided not whatever they want.

thanks in advance for your help

    My two cents...

I assume that your row source type is a Table/Query. For your combo box Properties in the 'Data' tab, the 'Limit to List' should be Yes.
