    Message Box question

Is there a way to send a message to the screen that will display the progress of a procedure? I have a procedure that takes up to an hour or more to run and it would be helpful to be able to give the user status updates so they know what to expect.

I don't want to use the msgbox function as that wil interupt the process until the user hits enter. The goal is not to delay the process, just report on it.

    Thank you for your help.

See if SysCmd does what you want.
