Cannot open me access database 2007 because the external network drive its connected to couldn’t ope

Hi I’m having trouble opening a database from ms access 2007 that’s for work purposes and it’s connected to an external network drive in other words a external computer tower that manages the network that the database is connected to I think I am unable to open the database because something is unplugged. I have already turn it off and on the external network drive (computer tower ) but it has made no difference in terms of being able to open the database . I know the password to open it but I am
Unable to do so at this time . Without the admin password on the computer is there a way I can fix this problem without altering the network location with out needing the admin password on the computer . I don’t know it and I refuse to bother our technician to help me fix this issue for my job. Thanks

IF the network drive is up and running,
and the database is connected to the network drive using UNC paths and NOT drive letter paths, (which may have been lost in disconnect, but UNCs dont)
then you should be able to access the data.

If you dont want to login to the 1 PC, then you can open it on another PC.
if not, you need to ask for the password.

Can you navigate to the drive/folder where the database is stored? Can you see the dB?

It sounds like the dB is an Access dB. Is the dB split into a FE and BE? (it should be split)

Is the FE on your local computer?
