    Mask for dcount criteria

Is there any way to code the criteria for dcount so that certain characters are free to be any value? I am trying to count the number of records that fit a certain format, such as AF_0034_100_X0 where the X0 could be X followed by any number.

    Thank you in advance!

I believe you can use both the "*" and "?" wildcards in a DCount. You'd need Like instead of =.
