    Database crashing

I've got an app that all of a sudden is crashing without even running the code. I've stepped through the code and all I have to do is hover the mouse over a line of code that reads a combo box and it crashes with no error message. I've tried replacing the combo box as well as creating a new database and importing all the objects into it. My next and last thing I can think of will be to export the form to a text file and re import it. After that I guess I'll have to rebuild the entire form. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. It crashes on both Access 2010 and 2016 as well as multiple pc's.

This is assuredly corruption of one sort or another.

First question has to be, given the statement "It crashes on both Access 2010 and 2016 as well as multiple pc's," is the database split, with the Back End (with Tables) on a shared drive and a copy of the Front End (with everything else) on each PC?

You've apparently deleted/recreated the Combobox...but sis you leave the original code in place or did you delete it then recreate it, as well? IF not, I'd try that.

Last resort, I think, given what you've already tried, is just what you've said...recreate the entire Form.

    Good luck!

    Agree with linq re corruption.
Always worth decompiling before spending time recreating the form. it usually works for me
See this link for details http://www.fmsinc.com/MicrosoftAcces.../Decompile.asp
