Access 97 and Too large fonts in Report view

Hello all, new to this forum.
I am a tech for a software development firm for time and attendance solutions. I have run into an interesting issue. One of our older products is based around the Access 97 Db and run-time. We bring over all our components during install so it doesn't matter what version of Access our Client has installed on the system.
The issue now is that a client has installed our software on an XP system to replace a system which died. The application runs great but when you pull a report the view is as if it has been enlarged by X4, or the Fonts have doubled as well as the fields which make up the report.
The client is running Office 2007, and when you export the report to Word (.rtf) the report fonts and size is correct. The printout directly form the report view also prints in a large size. I have looked everywhere for font settings and such but to no avail.
Has some one out there ran into this issue and if so how did you resolve it if you did with out a complete system reload of applications.
Thanks in advance for any information you can give me in this issue. -Dē

Interesting problem. I wonder if any of the following would apply:

    1. Changing the Printer driver itself.
    2. No default printer setup on the computer (which I've seen issues with)
    3. Using a Rich Text type of field such as posted on (I believe it's Lebans or Peters tools) website would help.
    4. What a pdf (acrobat distiller or writer) export would look like for printout.
    5. Upsizing the actual MSAccess 97 app to MSAcess 2007 would do (if that's a possibility).
    6. Using a different MSAccess run-time version.
    7. Installing a font-type package or even changing the font of the fields on the report from like Times New Roman to Arial or another font (I believe Arial is a more standard font throughout the different MSAccess versions).
    8. Having the client print it out on a non-XP system such as Windows 7 or another OS if possible (to troubleshoot)
    9. What the report would look like printed from Office 2010 (if possible).
    10. Is it always to a specific printer or specific to XP itself.
    11. Does the XP OS have all the latest Service Packs installed.

I'm just stabbing at some possibilities or things to help you troubleshoot, some which may not help at all.
