    Decimals on reports.

I recently learned that I have to format most fields that have to do with money amounts to CURRENCY, because large amounts ACCESS round the cents of even if the decimals are set to 2. I wanted the currency symbol not to show, we achieved that. It seems when I have calculated fields in a query, and then put on a report, the report does not show the decimals.

Format the field in the report with the number of decimal places required - presumably 2 d.p.

BTW- I've just replied to the other thread with an easier method of removing the currency symbol - use Fixed format

Just tested in a table, under data type I chose NUMBER. Below in the field properties I chose Fixed under format. The result was still rounding of the cents.

Before my thread I formatted in the table, query and form the numbers that end up in the report and set decimals at 2. I don't get it to show decimals on the report for fields that are calculated in the query. Non calculated fields shows decimals correct.

No - keep Currency as datatype but format as Fixed
