I have never used the switchboard manager wizard to set up a 'menu' form. Just a normal form and VBA. There's a reason MS deprecated the wizard and makes it hard to find. The thing is a pain in *** to manage. It used to be readily accessible from ribbon back in Access2007. Now have to find and activate.

Set the button to RunCode. Create a VBA function with code: DoCmd.Quit. Call the function.

Or set it to RunMacro. Create a macro object that executes the QuitAccess command. Call the macro.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
