    Change existing report

    Hi all,

I'm relatively new to Access and i need to change an existing database that i did not build myself. I have managed to do all the required changes in Tables and Queries but i' stuck in the Reports part.

    My database is here https://wetransfer.com/downloads/be8...3120227/b2da59

If you look at the report Rpt_Procedures you will see that it groups by Tbl_Owners.Owner Full Name on the top level and subgroups by Tbl_Owners1.Owner Full Name.

I want to change the grouping and make it according to field Processes and remove all other grouping. All of these fields are inside Qry_Procedures.

I want to maintain count based on the new grouping and all the other fields and layout as they are.

This should be rather easy for an Access savvy person.

    Any help much appreciated.

    John

Moderated posts approved. You may want to attach the db here after a compact/repair and zipping. Many of us won't follow links to unknown sites.

When you remove a grouping, it removes the group's header and footer sections. So the first thing to do is to move the objects within these sections - the full names - and put them somewhere else, such as the detail section. Then remove the two headers by clicking on the Group & Sort icon and hitting the "X" delete button.

Then add the new group for Processes. For your count, you can say that you want a group footer and put the count there.
