    How to position Tab Control

Hi, How can I stop a Tab Control from hugging the top of the detail area on a form.

I have a tab control with pages the page title tag has a border, the top of this border is always hidden 'cause I can't move the tab control down so it's visible, how do I control the positioning of the tab control?.
    Thanks
    David

Probably your Tab control is too high? Have you a scrolling bar visible at right of form when in display mode? When yes, then it indicates, that not all controls on form can be displayed with current form height.

Hi Arvil, Thanks for your reply. Where the content fits on a single screen - this is a continuous form - I have no scrollbars

Hi Aytee, this works when I initially go to Form View but the tab control goes higher each time I click on a page tab, after 3 clicks its hugging the top of the detail area again - any other ideas ?

    Thanks
    David

It is all to do with tab stop property. Do a Select All and set the property to No if you can't find the offending item.

    Hi Aytee,

OK got it, when you say "Do a select all" you mean just the form containers not all the fields on the forms. Now they all stay fixed in place.

    Thanks for your help

There is/was an object on the form which was causing your problem. Usually it is a subform but I was unsure what all you had on your form. With the Select All you are guaranteed not to miss any!
