Populating a query from two tables

Hi Andy



It is a step in the right direction. I have sent you the DB that I have been working on all morning. What I am looking for is close to what you did. It just seems so simple in my mind but to get it right is frustrating.

I am looking for a Feedback form that I can enter the customers ID Number and the form will populate the table with CustomerID_FK. and the same with the service and so on.

My problem is that when I try create the form to populate the feedback table the wizard creates it with the same fields as the form. My problem is that I will not know what the customers CustomerID_Fk is and neither will the customer, so what I need is to use his/her ID Number which can either autofill the CustomerID_Fk on the form or just populate it in the table.

All this seems so simple and I really appreciate your help

Without a subform like I showed this morning, I can only think of using a dlookup function to
Find the correct customerid_fk from a query then use an update query to store the info in the feedback table

It will need a button to work it.

Maybe one of the others will have a better idea.
