    calculated sum not working!

Help! I've built a report and just need to include a total at the end which displays the total sum of fees paid by all members. I'm pretty familiar with Access, but can't seem to get it to work. I've taken all of the steps I can to do this correctly, but it won't work. All I get when I open the report in preview is a message in the footer that says 'error.'

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Linda

Say if the variable is Net Sales and you wish to total on this, in the textbox that the total is going in have you done a recordsource as =Sum([Net Sales])

It's something very similar to this I believe.
