    Question Run DB in Background

I have a database that runs several import scripts. It needs to be opened every day or so to run the scripts. I would like to set it up so when users open up a different DB, which happens on a daily basis, this DB opens in the background. It will close once it is finished and requires no user interaction. A scheduler is not going to work in this case. I tried using the "Call Shell" function, but the DB opens in the foreground. I need something that will open the DB in the background or minimized.

try this out. but instead of using the scheduled tasks, use the vba in the db the user opens to call the .vbs file.
