    Access opening issue

Ok you know when you are running a make table query and Access then gets too big and comes back invalid arguement? Then you say oops and compact repair for more space and still get invalid arguement? So you have to close and start over opening it again and when you do all you get is the greyed screen. It never opens and has that security waring pop up you click ok and then all your database with the open/design/etc appears.

You know it is still there somewhere because it has a size of 1,696,904K. It didn't revert to an .mde or .ldb. So you are kind of stuck. I tried opening with Excel but the tables all are more than the 66666K or whatever rows. I am trying to see if I can open each table in UltraEdit and then saveas .txt and import to brand new DB. I don't want to have to recreate this DB from scratch because I need to produce the report by end of today and it took me 2 weeks to build this DB. Any suggestions?

Have you tried creating a new empty db and then importing everything from the old db? You may want to import just a little at a time until you get it all.
