    changing data in many records

I have a DB from importing from excel. I need to change one field in a ton of records. Example: 63555.0000/6 needs to be; 635500006. Just removing the "." and "/". I can't get excel macro to do it. I was hoping I could do it in access, but I'm not up to speed with VBA. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for any help.... Chet

The easiest way to change multiple records is with an update query, not VBA. Within that, you can use the Replace() function to get rid of the characters.
