Is it possible to get this info from a client workstation, not just from local FE, and also to distinguish between Access and Access Runtime?
Not sure what you mean, isn't the FE on the client workstation?
Does Application.Name tell you what you need to know?

It shows Microsoft Access and its version, but do now show is it Access (as part of Office Pro) or Access Runtime (as stand-alone free installation).
Any other ideas if you have please?
Does Runtime have the same version number as regular Access?
No, if Application.Name returns same info for both apps, don't see any way to distinguish them.
