How to get rid of the side bar in a subform

I went to the form properties and set Record Selector and Navigation button to No, but still the left side bar of the subform is showing. I want to get rid of the side bar of the subform. Appreciate some help here. Thanks

Did you set properties of the main form or the subform? A subform is composed of a subform container control that references a SourceObject which can be a table, query, form, report. Set the properties of the form object referenced by the container. Open that form in design view and set properties.

Thanks June, that did remove the right and bottom bars of the subform. However, I'm still seeing the left most bar of the subform. How to get rid of that ?
Following is the screen shot of the portion of the subform, and I want to get rid of the left bar.

I believe that's correct. The usual way to overcome the limitations of Datasheet View Forms, like this, is to use a Continuous View Form tweaked/formatted to look like a Datasheet.

True, however you will lose the column manipulation features that a datasheet has, such as dragging to size or hide columns.

Also true, but probably not pertinent since we're talking about a Subform, here.

Don't understand. The columns in a subform datasheet can be dragged - at least in 2007. Sounds like you're saying you cannot.

Yes, can still grab and drag in 2010 and I assume in 2013 and 2016 for a subform in Datasheet view.
