increase display of a long text field
Have you tried making the textbox on the form larger (wider and longer)?

You can also use the Zoom window using Shift+F2 shortcut

A textbox must be at least two lines tall to activate vertical scrollbar.

    Thanks for the two suggestions.

I was hoping that I could have a long text field displayed as a A4 page. Making the field larger in Forms spreads the other fields out to much when designing Form Page.

Using the zoom only gives me a window of say 5cmx3cm. Can the zoom window be made larger, if so that may satisfy my situation.

What exactly do you want? Perhaps you could create a sample and then readers could offer advice/suggestions for doing so in Access.
You could even build a separate form to be displayed when user clicked on a button or control to show the long text value.

True but nobody has mentioned a vertical scrollbar.

The Zoom feature (Shift+F2) works in any size textbox as shown below

No - you can adjust the font size but not the window siz.
Instead you could make a customised form to mimic its effects

OP asked how to make it easier to read data input to textbox - sizing so the vertical scrollbar is available is one way, another is teaching users about the zoom box.

Correction to my earlier statement, I do get the vertical scrollbar with textbox size set for single line. However, also seems it has to be over 0.25" in height to be functional. I get performance at 0.2597" setting. Probably that's why I got the idea had to be 2 lines high.
