    Query Based On Date Ordered

Hello, I have a form called 'Contract' with a continuous subform called 'order subform'.

On the main form, I have Date and Contact Information text boxes. On the subform, I have quantity, item & cost text boxes.
What I want to do, is create a query which with sort by date, the quantity & item ordered.

I have, using VBA code, a hidden textbox on the subform which pulls the date from the main form so that they are always equal.

But, what is happening, is the date is only being filled on the first record of the subform, not all of them. I've tried placing the subform date textbox in the header, footer, and on the subform itself to no avail. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Thanks for the link, but it's not what I'm looking for. The ordering of the query is fine, it's just that the date text box on my subform is only being filled for the first record instead of each record.
