    Incompatibility W7 64 bit and Access 2007?

I bought a new sony laptop. 64 bit with W7. I use use Access 2007 as part of the Office 2007 Professional suite. Is there an incompatibility issue concerning VBA that isn't fixed? When using VBA, things function ok one day and not the next. Lockups occur. I am careful to make copies after each change and have to revert to the copies too often. Other weird things happen, for example, like the wizard to open forms and find a specific matching field doesn't list the fields in the source form but only the fields on the form to be opened.

In case not obvious, I prefer VBA rather than the favored macros which I find limiting and clumsy.

I downloaded the free office 2007 on my wife's 32 bit machine with W7 and don't get the same problems there

I've been using Win7 (64) and ac2007 for quite a while without any issues, if that helps.
