Cannot Add or Change a Record Because A related record is Required

Cannot Add or Change a Record Because A related record is Required

Good afternoon! I am receiving this message box after a delete button is pressed on a form. The form is the parent (one in the one-many relationship). The delete is successful.

Then the form is blank and the id says "New". Here's where it gets interesting....as soon as I close the form I get the message box "Cannot Add or Change a Record Because A related record is Required". I do not want this message box to appear. I don't understand why it thinks I am trying to first of all, add or change a record, and second...even if I was this is the parent anyways so it shouldn't be a problem.

    Help please! Thanks!

Have you set "Enforce Referential Integrity" and "Cascade Delete Related Records" in the relationship window.
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation. Many thanks.
Not everyone can access an accdb, you may reach a broader audience by attaching in mdb format.

Can you post a copy of the db to illustrate the problem that we can play with
