    Import Outlook Calendar

When I import data in Access 10(32bit) using menu more... Outlook Folder then selecting the internet calendar (via either importing or linking) it doesn't import any data from the Start Date field (which is actually the calendar date of appointment).

In troubleshooting. if I make a new appointment in the main std calendar it imports it properly. If I copy a record (appointment) in Outlook (2010) from the internet calendar to the std calendar then import it into Access as above, it still dosn't show the calendar appointment date. If in Outlook I export to a csv file , then import that file in Access it works as expected.

I want this to be more seamless as I do it often importing facebook birthdays.

Thanks in advance for any help.
