    Remove layout box?

when a form is made using the wizard it always puts the text boxes within a "layout box" I have no idea what its actually called. Is there a way to get rid of this box? It never behaves as I want I usually delete the whole thing and put my own in.

In Ac2013 one would select the outer grid that wraps the controls, then in ribbon click Arrange Tab, then in "Table" group at far left, click [Remove Layout].
