Why Main Report doesn't show a record if subreport has no record

I have a subreport linked with the main report but the main report does not display the record (of parent table) if subreport has no data.

I have already used LEFT JOIN in the query on which the main report is based on.

the report query is prob. inner join and wont show parent if parent record has no subrecords.
To see ALL parent records with or without children, the query must be an OUTER join query.

Thanks ranman256, I was missing LEFT JOIN again in the query. LEFT JOIN solved the problem, but still INEER JOIN clause exists in the query, and it's working (showing all records from parent query)
