Post Form with record source set to "all records."

    Hi.

I got a form whose record source points to the entire data set of a table. I was wondering if this will cause an issue when record count is 100,000 or so, while the form's Data Entry property is set to Yes.

Should I create some criteria that loads only a subset of table data onto a form? If yes, how do you guys deal with this kind of situation? Date criterion? Transaction counts? I wanna know what has worked best in your own experience.

    Thanks a lot.

Since it's being opened in data entry mode, I would say no criteria needed. In my experience, there's no performance problem with forms bound to large tables as long as they're either opened in data entry mode or with a wherecondition that restricts the record returned.
