Citrix Server Network- Access Form auto size to fit screen?

    Hi,

Our work IT network is fed around each site by Citrix.
You logon via a Wyse terminal and some workstations in offices have smaller Ltd monitor screens than others.

Is there any VBA code available which forces the form to load and size to the screen?

    Thanks

    Darren

the max button will maximize access.
but the Citrix screens dont always match the screen you view it on, nor the screen the physical pc is on.

My experience has not been only working on citrix, just that certain applications run on it so not sure if it is the same scenario where everyone is working on everything in citrix so perhaps a different configuration.

I agree with Ranman. It is a problem that is not easily solvable and it is a windows problem, not an access problem. When you connect to citrix, it doesn't know what size of monitor the user is actually using - and in fact that in itself would not resolve the problem because citrix is viewed through a window (in my experience) and the user may not have the window maximized. You also have to consider the matter of screen resolution. Talk to the citrix team to see if they can reduce the size of the monitor - though this may have implications for your form design and an impact on those users with larger screens.

It's a bit crude, but I design my forms to be of a size smaller than the smallest screen being used and either popup or set the window option to overlapping windows so users can move them around if required - but users still need to scroll the window to find the windows taskbar at the bottom.

Thanks for your feedback Ajax and Ranman.

I'll go with setting the forms as small as possible and test on several variations of screen resolutions to get the best result

    Cheers Darren
