    Attach Email to Form

Is there a way to attach an email to a record so that it can be opened by a command button for more details regarding that record?

Access can certainly handle attachments. (Access 2007 has builtin support for it, but earlier versions can be set up for it with relative ease).

    I'd make two recommendations though:
First, if you're going to work with external files and file formats, I'd go with something other than e-mails. Use a PDF or Word Document (.DOC format, not .DOCX).

Second, instead of attaching the file to the database itself, put the document in some central location and just store a link to it in the database.

I used a hyperlink to a community file. It works fine.

    Thanks.
