    Filter By Form not working!

I posted a note but maybe I needed more info. I have a DB that tracks all the overtime in my Dept.. I have basic fields such as Name,Job,Street,Dept ect. Almost every field in the main table comes from another table in a relationship to keep the data integrity. I have one blank field to write comment otherwise all of the fields are default to enter at least a - so I leave nothing blank on a record.

Every time there is overtime I have to make a sheet to submit it. So after I enter any overtime over the weekend I have to make a sheet. I know it's double work but that's what the boss wants. So I will use filter by Form which will show me all records from a specific Date. Then I will so the record in Database view and print it. The problem is there is nothing wrong with the database it works perfect but as soon as I put record number 1001 the Filter By Form doesn't work. It says Is Null/ Is not Null. If I delete the record then Filter by Form Works again. I'll send then DB if you want to look at it but I really need help. Thanks Troy in NJ

    Freybourne,

Post a copy of your database converted to Access 2000 format. Make sure you delete any sensitive information.

I converted the file to Access 2000. How do I post it? Or do you want me to email the file?

You have to send your message in "advanced" mode look for the paper clip and attach your DB.

Is your database huge? you can try compressing it in a zip file first.
