I'm a Stone Countertop Fabricator.

My objective:

I'm looking to create a database that will enable me to record and store the applicable data for each PROCESS in the course of a Job.

I've built 22 tables from within MS Access.

Each table contains data particular to a PROCESS within the course of a job.


My current delima:

Each job needs a unique JobID number.

The optimal, or, the way I'd like to see this done, would be to enable a "Job Coordinator" to be able to type in the "Company/Customer" information into a form... automatically generating a unique JobID number.
