    Me.SortBy descending not effective

I have a form that includes, among others, three columns subject to a change in sort order. The default is by year ascending with sub-sorting on "Session" (month abbreviation) and "Mtg#", the third of the three columns of interest. When the user clicks on the "Year" heading, my code changes the sort expression adding DESC as you see in the screen shot, but while the "MtgNo" sorts descending as expected, the year does not.

The screenshot includes the Msgbox of the current Me.SortBy expression.

    What am I missing?

The ascending/descending designation is by field. You'd want

    Yr Desc, Session, MtgNo Desc

Makes sense. Too bad my brain didn't think in terms of what we'd normally see in a query design view where each field has its own sorting property.

    Thanks.
