    Database Opening Password

Wrote a db about two years ago and I put a password to open the database and have forgotten it. Any way to find out what the password is?
    Thanks for your help! Roy

is it mdb or accdb? if the former I believe you can pay someone to unlock it, but if the latter, the protection is much stronger and I don't think you will be able to hack it.

If the db is a password protected back end and you have a front end linking to it, you can find the password by opening the front end msysobjects table and finding the connection string for that table

In that case I think you are out of luck - perhaps you have a none password protected backup? May not be the final version but close enough?
