Post Display Data on Subform based on main form input

    Hi Every body

I have a table which has the records of student no, name and marks in different subject.

I have a form with one texbox, command button and a subform.

If I enter "ALL" in the text box and press the command button. All students details should be dispalyed in the subform.

If I enter the student name (for eg. aa)in the text box. Only that particular student details should be dispalyed.

    The database file is attached.

    Please help.....

    Hi mrbabji,

Apologies I did take a few liberties with your database You may want to adjust the label "Name of the student or All" When you open the database it opens to all. When you remove the filter it defaults to all.

Just a reminder some uploads will not run in "read only" mode, If you want to look at the samples download them to the desktop first.
