Unable to Sort A Column Using Macro

Hi, I have a single column table called tblChronicles with ChronicleID as my PK. Short Text data Type.

I've created a form for entering new Chronicle titles that includes a Subform, sbfmChronicle, linked to tbleChronicles.

But when I set up the macro to sort the ChronicleID column in Ascending order after entering a new title, I can't seem to get it working. I'm clearly using the wrong setting. Just wondering if someone might be able to see what I can't. Thanks.

can't see anything without knowing what your macro is and what event you are using to trigger the macro

Hi Ajax, I'm trying to automate as much as I can to reduce mouse clicks. When I add a new entry I'd like the SubForm to refresh and sort into Ascending order for the ComboBox on the other main Entry Form.

Problem solved. I think Access automatically sorts the ID column in Ascending order by default if populated with text. I ended up finding a typo error and fixed it. And the Requery also threw me. Sometimes the Intellisense automatically pops up which I was expecting. But in this instance of the Requery, it didn't. After it typed in the subform name, it all suddenly worked. So all fixed. Cheers.
