cant find dll entry point getuserdefaultlcid in kernel32 error

    Hello,

I have to update one of our tables in the backend. So I got the new data ready to import and when I go to import the excel workbook I get the following error "cant find dll entry point getuserdefaultlcid in kernel32" I have tried compact and repair, using a different excel workbook, saving and closing the database... I have never got his error before and have updated the records multiple times before doing it this way. This is not a coded update, I am clicking on the Import button in Access and following the prompts.

    Thanks,
    Will

How about a Repair install of Access? It sounds like something got corrupted.

Can't you get into the Control Panel? It is all internal to your PC.

I assume you are using Window. If so, what version? Does it have a Start button on the left of the Task Bar? If you press it can you see Control Panel?

Are there two columns with "Uninstall a Program" at the bottom of the left column?

You do not uninstall the software. If you press the Uninstall Software it brings up a form with all of the installed software. Does it show Office 2010?
