    Form Problem with a Relationship

    Hi.

I am in the process of creating a HR form to view and update info regarding any employee change. What I need is to also keep track of all the employee changes over time.

I have tblEmployeeInfo and tblPersonnelActions that are involved with this form.
The PK in tblEmployeeInfo is the SS#
The PK in tbl PersonnelActions is an AutoNumber / the SS# is a FK

There are currently no records in the tblPersonnelActions - since we have not entered any changes yet. But my tblEmployeeInfo has 1000 records.

When I drop a field from the Actions table to the form - I no longer can see all 1000 records.

What am I doing wrong with my form or relationships?? Thanks.

That relationship (one-to-many) would typically be represented with a form/subform. The form would be bound to the employee table, the subform to the actions table. Master/child links would keep them in sync with each other.
