Change in Text Data Type names Short Text to Text

Has anyone experienced any problems with the Data Type changes from Access 2007 and 2013 from "Short Text" to "Text"

Thanks for your responses in advance.

    What kind of issues, exactly?

It looks like what they call "Text" in 2013 is what was formerly called "Memo" on earlier version of Access.
Note that there are limitations on Memo type fields, namely they cannot be primary keys, indexed, searched, or used in criteria. I think it can also be problematic to export them (get chopped off at 255 characters). At least these were all the limitations/issues with them in the earlier versions. I don't know if any of that has changed.

For these reasons, I often try to avoid using them if I can. Really, they are just a place to store notes or other details, but you really cannot do anything with them other than return the value.
