Renaming Query and table in MS Access 2016

Good day. I have a database in access 2016 and I would like to rename one of the Tables and Query. When I click on the table or query name and right click the rename option is greyed out so I cant use it.

How do I fix this problem.

    Thank-you

It's my understanding that it's possible to lock the navigation pane in 2007 and newer by using a macro. Perhaps you have done this to try to keep others from making changes?

That is more less what happened. I combined three small databases together and one was data base was locked and it locked everything else to. I just started from scratch. Thanks for the help.

Please mark your posts as solved if you are happy with the outcome. Will save time for others to not review a lot of posts in a thread only to find at the bottom that it was solved.
    Thanks!
