My New Access Document context menu option is gone - how to get back

I just updated my Office 365 (PlusPlus) to version 2016.

Now I can't create a new Access file by right clicking in the File Explorer - its missing.

I tried the simple Registry hack of adding a ShellNew key, but no joy.

Anyone know hot to get it back?

    Thanks,
    Brad

You can always do it thru access menu.

    Ranman,

I am not sure what you mean. A menu within Access? I poked around Access and cannot find any shell integration options. A menu item somewhere called Access? An app called Access Menu? Or do you mean opening a new database from within Access itself?

I did get part of the way there. Apparently my registry trick did finally get it on the New menu, it just took a while. But when I open the resulting file I get an "Unrecognized Database Format" error.

Two steps forward, one step back.

    Brad
