How can I use 1 combo box as the filter source for 2 fields in a query?

Originally, I had a working query where my [Organization] field had this criteria:

    Like "*" & [Forms]![frm_UserReport]![CboOrg] & ""

It occurred to me that the value of the [cboOrg] could ALTERNATIVELY appear in the field [CharitableName] of the same query. Adding the same criteria as described above to [CharitableName] but placing it on the "OR" line doesn't work. What am I missing here?

    Thanks in advance!

It will work, tho. You need quotes around strings....
    Like "'*" & [Forms]![frm_UserReport]![CboOrg] & "'"

I don't think that's it. I removed the criteria from [Organization] so its not competing with the criteria in [CharitableName] and it's still not working. Maybe it makes a difference that [CharitableName] is a field that more often appears empty whereas [Organization] always has content?
