    Best solution

Hey guys, I need to learn ACCESS to create a database. I dont know what the best solution is for my situation. I want to make a sales datebase that can be used from other computers (without a license; just to see and add data, not modify the DB). What should I use, desktop database or web? Should I use the license on a regular computer, or on the server? How can I get what I want without braking the law and using just one license?
    Thank you very much!

with access, the development machine need a licence - all other users can use what is called a runtime license which is free - they will only be able to see and add data through forms and have no direct sight of tables and queries

desktop or web? up to you and depends on your requirements. if your users are dotted around the country, probably web or mobile with intermittent connection probably desktop. Also does your organisation have a common server for the users and an efficient network? if not, web will be the solution

We have a common server. I dont know if it needs to be used only in our building (so I use desktop) or it will be used by field agents too (I use web). Is that correct?

sounds like it - there are a number of ways of doing it but sounds like you are on a budget - be aware that going the web route may cost more because you may need additional licences for the web access (not the application)
