Parameter value dialog box displays partially transparent on first click.

Access 2010 on Win7 PC. Frontend/backend setup (over a T1 phone line network). Query set to ask for a members last name. Assigned to a Command button on form. Problem: The first time you press the command button parts of the parameter box display transparent. If you let the query fail (by not entering a parameter & click OK) then press the command button again, the parameter dialog box displays normally.

This is a very annoying issue for me as well as the users on my system....any ideas on what could be causing this behavior?

sounds like a Win7 graphic event.
