Question Old Field Descriptions showing on a Form

I am using a form where I see on the Status Bar OLD Descriptions for my Table. That is they are NOT the Current descriptions, but earlier versions of the Field descriptions.

Any idea how to solve this (I just re-created the Query that the form is based on).

what do you mean by field descriptions? Do you mean the field name or the field caption?

I mean the 'Optional' Descriptions that are part of a Table in Design View (the third column).

Ah - I've never really paid much attention to those. When the form is created it populates the control 'status bar text' property (on the properties other tab) - the only way to do this 'automatically' would be to delete the control then add it again. The only other option is to modify the status bar text property manually

    Ajax -

Thanks for the reply. I may look at using VBA to update the form, as it is rather complex.

I would try deleting the RecordSource for the Form, then re-instating it...I believe that this may 'reset' it, so to speak.
