3 years on but I've only just seen this thread. Did you ever solve it to your satisfaction?
If not, I did much the same recently to place a zoom box directly below a selected textbox in a form (single/continuous or continuous subform).
    See https://www.access-programmers.co.uk...0&postcount=20

Also , in response to another request in this forum, I've also managed to accurately identify the 'selected' record in a listbox using mouse move code (without clicking the record)
If you are interested, see post #47 in this lengthy thread https://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=75572 for the first working solution.

An improved version will be posted in the next couple of days

    Hi Colin,
I'm trying to remember the where and in what app the question arose? You might recall over a year ago you helped me when I was struggling with a screen metrics issue as it related to differentiating "X,Y" positioning within the Access window versus the Window's 10 window but I don't believe that the metrics issue had anything to do with the top of this thread. I can't think of any outstanding issues at this time so I'm going to assume I found a satisfactory solution. I will have a look at the URL's you posted for future reference.
    Thanks,
    Bill

(PS) Maybe Paul will remember............. he's much younger than I am and a sharper brain to match.

Paul shook his head and left when he realized a 3-year-old thread had been revived. Plus he has to go shovel the snow the plow just dumped in front of his previously-shoveled driveway.

Ah yes, SNOW! A bit off-topic (sorry) but that's 42 inches sitting on my front deck.

Ye gods... that's a lot of snow! Looks pretty though

Its early spring here in the UK. About 15C yesterday.
We had about 10cm (4 inches) of snow a week ago - that's it for this winter I expect!
