    Newby to Access Needing Advice

I am in the middle of a project where I need to enter data as follows for 4 simple questions - Questions #1 and #2 will have data entered of either "YES", "NO", or "NOT ANSWERED", and Questions #3 and #4 will have "YES", "NO", "NOT APPLICABLE", or "NOT ANSWERED."

After all data from these anonymous surveys are entered, I will want to compile the data into 3 subgroups for statistical purposes - 1)members, 2)non-members, and 3)total group.

Is this something I can use Access to do? I own a bundled copy but have never used the program.

If not, does anyone have any suggestions? I simply want to enter the answers from the 4 questions, allow that to post to the database, and then go on to the next survey.

    Thanks greatly in advance!

You can use forms in Access to accomplish this. It's been done many times before. A Google search on "Access forms questionaire" should help you get started. Let us know if you have specific questions as to VBA/SQL or if you want some ideas

    Hi John,

I found this survey Database a few years ago designed by Duane Hookom [MVP] it allows you to create your own surveys.
