Automated Email Reports - monthly no clicks

    Hi,

Having got to the bottom of my last emailing reports problem, I have a new one:

Is it possible to automatically email reports (say, monthly) on opening the database / switchboard.

i.e. so I don't have to go into the report section and select to open a report, then email it out, just so a report sends out itself on opening a database monthly?

Sorry if that's not clear - I'm not a pro at all!

    Thanks

Personally I would create a stand-alone mdb that emailed out your reports when it opened, then closed itself. Then I'd call that from Windows Scheduled Tasks. You can do it from within the db, but then you have to worry about multiple people opening it and all sending the report, or nobody opening on the appropriate day and nobody sending it. Both can be worked around, but in my opinion the method I mentioned is easier.
