    Parameter Query help...

    Hey,

new to the forums and hoping for some help

I'm trying to run a parameter query, but I only want it to run on the form that I'm on at the time.

For example: If I'm on the staff form and looking at the information of Staff ID1, if I then click a query for staff to location, I only want it to run on staff ID 1

At the moment I have a box asking for the ID, but I could find no way to enter validation code to make sure the ID entered was valid, thus I couldn't display an incorrect input message if they entered an Id that didn't exist.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just realised my question makes very little sense.

Essentially all I want to do is make a query that runs on the page (and ID) I'm on instead of displaying all records.

At the moment I can't seem to make that happen

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
