Looking for Scrollbar in text box example

I've added a vertical scrollbar to a text box, but haven't got it working very well.

I presume as you drag the slider down the contents should move too? They don't for me until I stop moving the slider.

Also it scrolls way beyond the end of the text. I've been googling for a 'scroll height' setting but found nothing.

Does anyone have example code showing what's needs doing to scroll properly?

    Thanks

    PS I'm using Access 2003, not 2007

In properties - Scroll bars - Vertical

Also set Can Shrink and Can Grow to Yes. (No idea what they do though!)

Can Shrink and Can Grow really only apply on report.

AFAIK, there is no way to modify the scroll bar behavior.

Thanks for info... but just to be sure - really no way to set height or range so the scrolling action stops at the end of text?
I can do this Ok in Excel and would have thought Access could too.

    None that I know of.
How big is the textbox? You might see better control with larger textbox. But even then, doesn't scroll until stop rolling wheel.

What do you mean can do in Excel? How does a single cell have a scrollbar?

It isn't a single cell I scroll in Excel, but a control on a Form (a Frame)
It Uses .scrollHeight but seems theres no scrollheight in Access.

But logic says there must be some way to define how far you can drag the slider.
