Question truck loads and daily totals?

im looking for a simple access document to allow me to enter truck numbers along with tonnage per time i load them out with asphalt and be able to have a daily total and start a new one every day but be able to go back to other previous dates? anything along those lines would be good and be adjusted as needed.

I'm sure it will get more complicated, but what you describe can be done with a table with 3 fields (plus perhaps an autonumber key field):

    TruckNumber
    LoadDateTime
    Tonnage

If you bind a form to that table, you'll be able to enter new data or go back to edit older records. In a real db, I'd also expect a "trucks" table, etc.

In my view that's beyond the scope of a forum, but perhaps someone else is willing.

Oh, no need to apologize. Can't hurt to ask.

Would it be ok on this forum to post again asking if anyone would be interested in making one for me?

Sure, start a new thread and ask that from the outset.

OK, so I had to divert my mind for a few minutes....

You should be able to create this yourself, but maybe you can tear this apart and see how to create a simple dB.
And this is very simple..... 1 table, 2 queries, 1 form and 1 report.

I have and accept NO responsibility or liability for this dB. It was strictly a demo exercise.
This dB has a taillight warranty. (you can't see my taillights, so there is no warranty!)

    Good luck with your project....

LOL! I use the same joke, but say "when you can't see my taillights anymore, the warranty has expired". Got it from a sports car mechanic many moons ago.
