    Order by

I am trying to order a list and it goes in this order

    box1
    box10
    box14
    box17
    box2
    box22
    box3

    box4

Is there a way to get it to order correctly without having to put a "0" in for example box02 I dont want to do that. Is there another way?

Not directly, no. You can create a field with just the numerical portion (not in the table, just in a query or whatever), either as a number or with the padded zeros, and sort on that. It doesn't have to be visible to the user.
